Commercial, Municipal and Residential CCTV Pipeline Inspection Services
Precision Infrastructure Assessment & Video Pipeline Inspection
At Edenflo, we understand that underground infrastructure is the backbone of any municipality, commercial facility, or new development. When it comes to sewer and storm management, guesswork is not an option. You need precise, data-driven intelligence to verify structural integrity, identify blockages, and ensure compliance with municipal standards.
We have significantly expanded our inspection division with the acquisition of state-of-the-art Aries Industries CCTV Pipeline Inspection Systems, housed within our dedicated, mobilecommand Sprinter units. Paired with industry-leading CT Spec reporting software and operated by NASSCO PACP-certified technicians, Edenflo provides the level of detail and accuracy required by civil engineers, city officials, and large-scale project managers.
Whether you are a developer seeking Certificate of Total Performance (CTP) on a new subdivision, or a municipality managing aging assets, Edenflo has the equipment and the expertise to deliver

The Technology: Advanced Aries & CT Spec Integration
The difference between a standard inspection and a professional infrastructure assessment lies in the technology. Edenflo has invested heavily in the Aries Pipeline Inspection System, a rugged, steerable, and highly sophisticated platform designed to navigate the most demanding subterranean environments.
The Aries Advantage: Unlike push-cameras used by standard plumbers, our Aries mainboard crawlers are robust, self-propelled tractors capable of traversing long distances in mainlines ranging from 150mm to 1200mm. Equipped with high-resolution, pan-and-tilt optical zoom cameras, we capture crystal-clear HD imagery of every joint, lateral connection, and structural defect. The steerable capabilities allow us to navigate debris and offsets that would stop lesser equipment, ensuring you get a complete picture of the line.
CT Spec Data Management: Data is only useful if it is accessible and standardized. We utilize CT Spec, a premier inspection software that integrates seamlessly with municipal GIS systems. This software allows our operators to:
- Generate real-time, NASSCO-compliant reports.
- Overlay vital data directly onto the video feed (footage count and defect codes).
- Deliver digital reports that are easily shareable with city engineers and project managers.
Municipal Sewer & Storm Services
Municipalities across British Columbia are facing the challenge of aging infrastructure. Proactive asset management is the only way to prevent catastrophic failures and costly emergency repairs. Edenflo serves as a strategic partner to public works departments throughout Surrey, Metro Vancouver, and the Lower Mainland.
Condition Assessment & Asset Management Using the Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP) standards, we provide consistent, reliable data on the health of your sanitary and storm mains. Our inspections identify:
- Structural Defects: Cracks, fractures, collapsed sections, and deformation.
- Operational & Maintenance Issues: Root intrusion, calcification, grease buildup (FOG), and debris settlement.
- Inflow & Infiltration (I&I): Locating sources of groundwater entering the sanitary system, which saves municipalities millions in unnecessary treatment costs
Cross-Bore Prevention & Identification Before or after directional drilling and utility installation, verify that sewer lines have not been compromised. Our Aries system allows for detailed inspection to ensure gas lines or telecommunications cables have not inadvertently pierced sewer mains, preventing dangerous cross-bore situations.

New Construction & Developer Services
For civil contractors and developers, the "Acceptance Inspection" is a critical milestone. Before a municipality assumes responsibility for a new sewer system in a subdivision or development, they demand proof that the installation meets strict civil specifications.
Subdivision Acceptance Testing (CCC/FAC) We specialize in "End of Warranty" and "Construction Completion Certificate" inspections. Our detailed reports provide the verification developers need to release their bonds and hand over the project.
Deficiency Reports If a pipe has bellied, cracked, or has a disjointed seal during installation, our cameras will spot it. We pinpoint the exact distance from the manhole, allowing for surgical repairs rather than costly re-trenching of the whole line.
Commercial & Industrial Inspection
Property managers and facility owners cannot afford downtime. A backed-up sewer line in a shopping center, manufacturing plant, or office complex can halt operations and cause significant revenue loss.
Preventative Maintenance Programs Don't wait for a backup to call us. Edenflo works with commercial clients to establish routine CCTV inspection schedules. By monitoring high-risk lines—such as those from commercial kitchens susceptible to grease or manufacturing lines prone to scale buildup—we can recommend hydro-jetting intervals that keep your business running smoothly

Troubleshooting & Dispute Resolution Recurring drainage issues are often symptoms of a hidden structural problem. As demonstrated in a recent case at a customer’s facility, repeated backups in a renovated lunchroom were traced back to a plumbing contractor failing to connect the sink to the main line. Our camera located the capped pipe behind concrete, allowing the client to execute a targeted, minimal-cost repair. This forensic level of inspection eliminates guesswork and resolves disputes between owners and contractors.

Our Inspection Capabilities
Our fleet of Sprinter-type CCTV vans are mobile command centers, self-sufficient and ready for any job site.
- Mainline Inspection: Capabilities for small diameter (150mm) up to large diameter trunk sewers (1200mm).
- Remote Access Inspection: Our portable equipment allows us to inspect easements, right-of-ways, and remote manholes inaccessible to vehicles.
- Lateral Inspections: We utilize comprehensive Push Camera technology to inspect service laterals and lines smaller than 150mm.

Why Certification Matters: NASSCO & PACP
denflo takes pride in the professionalism of our operators. Anyone can push a camera down a pipe, but interpreting what you see requires training.
Our technicians hold NASSCO (National Association of Sewer Service Companies) certification in PACP (Pipeline Assessment Certification Program).
- Standardized Language: We use the North American standard for defect coding. When we mark a "Fracture Multiple" or "Root Medium," a municipal engineer in Surrey reads it exactly the same way as an engineer in Burnaby
- Data Integrity: Our strict adherence to these protocols ensures that your data is not just a video file, but a legally defensible engineering record.
The Edenflo Process
- Site Assessment & Traffic Control: Safety first. We manage traffic control requirements to work safely on city streets or active construction sites.
- Line Cleaning (Pre-Inspection): You cannot inspect a dirty pipe. We utilize our fleet of Combo-Vac trucks and hydro-jetters to scour the line, removing debris and grease to ensure the camera captures the structural wall of the pipe, not just the sludge inside it
- CCTV Deployment: Our Aries crawler is launched. The operator, stationed in the climate-controlled van, controls the speed, lighting, and camera angle, annotating observations in real-time via CT Spec.
- Reporting & Handoff: You receive a digital package containing the high-definition video files, a PDF report with photos of specific defects, and the database file for integration into your asset management software.
